Bimetal thermometers prove suited to a wide number of temperature measurement applications, involving such equipment as ovens, sterilizers, forced air heating and cooling ducts, pressurized vessels, processing system pipelines and constant temperature baths... to name just a few. The advantages offered by the bimetal thermometer include fast speed of response and accurate temperature indication.

SPECIFICATIONS

ACCUARACY:
Within +1% of scale range. To achieve this accuracy, the stem should be immersed in a minimum of 2" in liquids, 4" in gasses.

RANGES: Up to nine temperature measurement ranges (depending on thermometer construciton) beginning at -40/120º F and progressing to 50/500º F.

DIAL SIZE: 2", 2½" and 3½".

STEM LENGTHS: Available stem lengths include 2½", 4", 6", 9", and 12". The bimetal thermometer, being a direct mounting design requires that the stem be as close to the desired point of temperature measurement as possible.

CASE, RING, & STEM MATERIAL: Utilizes a brass stem with a drawn steel ring and steel case that are phosphatized for rust resistanced and finished in black enamel.

DIAL MATERIAL: Utilizes anodized aluminum dials for all temperature ranges.

WINDOW: Distortion free, high clarity glass.

STEM CONNECTION: ¼" NPT and ½ NPT stem connections are available.

DUAL SCALES: The temperature range is indicated on each dial by both Fahrenheit(F) and Celsius(C) scales which are printed in black.
